Big Imagery for Big Ideas - Battersea Reach Tower

When it comes to architecture, no amount of precluding fanfare can quite match the realisation of a project. Such is the case at Battersea Reach. The Thames riverside in London's south-west has been transformed, from an industrial wasteland to soaring complex of glass and steel. As commissioned by St George, Amberroom are now working to realise a series of trophy imagery to mark completion of this landmark riverfront. A selection of photos below show the high-rise in all its glory amidst an urban landscape of multifarious shades and colours.

IONA's Marketing Makeover

UK House Package Completed

Presenting UK House: from its commanding position in the West End, it is a hard to miss visual masterpiece of the London cityscape. All that remained was to consolidate its online presence. And so the Amberroom, as commissioned by GVA Saxon Law and Jones Lang La Salle, have produced an imaginative marketing campaign. Our tailored package included a four page brochure, ebrochure, rich email, photography and web update. An innovative take on the web based brochure can be found here.

The Build Continues - Canary Wharf

When Canary Wharf last astounded expectations, it was the 1990's. The development had become the single greatest symbol of Britain's economic recovery and emergence as the international capital of finance and services. Looking ahead, the Canary Wharf Group aims to defy expectations, again and again. Roll on the next stage of the project; Amberroom will be there, as before, to realise its goals photographically.
As now commissioned, we will comprehensively review Canary Wharf's photography in order to present the new stages in the context of the whole development. Over the next 6 months we will be pulling out the stops, working on architectural, lifestyle and aerial photography, alongside more our more recognisable classic night panoramas.
Our pioneering work will be at the disposal of the Canary Wharf, wherever its business takes it. In this way for example, we will also be producing sets of archival quality prints for use in overseas investor presentations.
Amberroom is delighted to build upon its relationship with Canary Wharf and bear such great ideas into the next decade.

Marketing Material for Templars

On behalf of Resolution property advisers, Amberroom has produced a new marketing brochure for Templars Shopping Park, Oxford. The project included a photoshoot in our own studio to create energetic imagery. Our work will be used in a wider marketing campaign to reposition the site as a shopping destination.

City Living at One The Tower, Battersea Reach

One The Tower is nearing completion and Amberroom have been called into to help market the stunning penthouse apartment. Reflecting upon the views, design and metropolitan lifestyle on offer, we have used top quality models and photographic techniques to produce highly polished imagery. The photos below will be used in the upcoming brochure for the property.

John Lewis

Amberroom have been chosen by John Lewis to undertake a new photographic style for their point-of-sale material. The imagery will be deployed across their entire store nationwide. Developed over a number of months by the John Lewis creative team, the new look was tested under studio conditions to meet necessary style standards. The project will comprise 3 weeks of studio shooting time and retouching and will be shot on the incredible Hasselblad H3D39 for maximum image quality.

T-Mobile

Business SIM and mobile broadband divisions of T-Mobile have recently used Amberroom (via GYRO) to produce imagery for press advertisement campaigns. Shoots included lifestyle and still-life photography that played heavily on concept. Expect to see glossy versions of these images soon.

Regus "Office To Go"

Amberroom have just completed a photographic shoot for Regus - a company that specialises in serviced offices and meeting room facilities under the slogan "offices to go". The studio shoot involved two hand models, shirts, suits and laptop cases. These images will be used for point-of-sale in WHSmith stores.

St George Plc Lifestyle Photoshoot

The Camberwell Grove development in South West London has been the setting for a recent Amberroom lifestyle photoshoot for St George Plc. Two of our in-house models illustrated a modern lifestyle on location at the marketing suite and at local amenities including a tennis club. The images will be used by St George to promote the completed scheme.

Notting Hill Housing Trust

Amberroom is producing a comprehensive photographic library of the Notting Hill Housing Trust's completed developments in South West London. The project will involve an initial 12 developments with more to follow as they are completed. We were asked to develop individual photography that can be applied to all the sites. This has manifested as a recognisable and marketable NHHT style.

Studio Conran Products

The Amberroom has won a contract to photograph product ranges for Conran corporate promotion.


Conran Group are involved in architecture, product design, graphic design, interior design, shops, restaurants and brand licensing. The Group traces it's roots back to 1990 when it was founded by Sir Terence Conran.


We will soon be embarking on studio and location work producing photos of single products and in-situ groups. This work is specifically for Studio Conran and Conran & Company.

9 South Street Property Video

The success of Amberroom Property Videos is continuing with a commission to produce a web-streamed showcase for Deka and Savills. The prime Mayfair office, 9 South Street, where there are currently 3 vacant floors will be given the Amberroom treatment. Expect the video to go live by the end of March.

Agile Tate & Lyle

The Amberroom has just completed a project for Tate & Lyle and their marketing agency GYRO International.


Our brief was to promote a fibre-rich drink product. Illustrating high levels of fitness and well-being; models performed a series of gravity-defying moves in our studio. The models used were professionally trained dancers.

Eerie Newquay

Phil Conrad has been rambling the shores of the South West, tracking down the breathtaking photos for his next exhibition.


With these two landscapes he takes inspiration from the cyclic dance of Sun and the instinct within us all to face the light. They were taken near Newquay using a pinhole camera.

Harmsworth House Marketing Campaign

The Amberroom has been asked by chartered surveyors Farebrother and property investment group Topland to produce marketing collateral for Harmsworth House, Bouverie Street; some 65,000 sq ft of office space in the heart of Holborn on the edge of London's Square Mile. We will be producing a brochure, a website, photography and rich content email for the campaign, which is scheduled to go live in March.

Traces at The Place

Phil Conrad is regularly involved with the London's contemporary dance community. This connection took him last night to the presentation of Tim Blowfield's new piece "Traces" where he was hired to photograph the performance in all its explosive glory.

A trio are accompanied by the melodies, rhythms and bass of four remixes of Philip Glass compositions by European DJs. The dancers' bodies calmly intertwine before bursting out with energy.

Rauri Cormack has crafted some seductive lighting for the performance, a goldmine for one with a photographic eye.

New: Rich Content Email and Recipient Tracking Service

Targeted marketing just became a whole lot easier.

Rich content via email has always been stumbling block for marketing. Spammers and hackers have used it to both annoy and destroy. And this has led to almost all email content that is not text from being blocked by increasingly effective filters.

However, and here's the good news, the Amberroom has just launched a Rich Content Email Service. Our new system protects both the sender and recipient whilst also successfully delivering rich content.

In tandem with the Rich Content Email Service we are now offering an email server with recipient tracking for all your mailing needs. The tracking system provides you with daily information on clicks made by addressees through your online content. Put into practice this allows you to tailor your approaches to clients based upon their personal needs.

These tools can now be integrated into our Whole Marketing Package to include advertising, brochure, branding, photography, rich email with tracking, signage, video and web design.


Snow Day

London's heaviest snowfall in 18 years may have wreaked havoc with the transport system and all but shut down businesses. But it provided some wonderful fun for our roving photographers. Here are two wintry photos taken by the one and only Phil Conrad with a pinhole camera.

Poplar HARCA Photography Complete

In less than 3 months Amberroom photographers have documented the entire Poplar HARCA community property portfolio covering some 8,500 homes across 9 estates in East London. Poplar HARCA is a registered social landlord. Our photographic survey provides vital information for the planning process of Poplar HARCA's ongoing regeneration projects. Poplar HARCA have already spent £250 million refurbishing to bring them up to the decent homes standard.

We would like to thank the local residents and Poplar HARCA staff for all the patience and kindness we received while completing the project.







New: Property Videos

We have launched the Amberroom Property Video, a high quality online video production service for the property market. The widescreen videos are shot by a professional camera crew, professionally edited into mini films and streamed direct to the online web-user.
 
As commissioned by Deka/Savills, our first production is for a commercial property in London's West End: 60 Sloane Avenue. During production we were privileged to collaborate with Expedition Media, fronted by cameraman Paul Mungeam (aka Mungo), and were provided with excellent equipment by HotCam. In creating the short we made use of real time footage, photographic stills, time-lapse footage, film design and video editing.

By using the latest technology available, we believe we have achieved something unique and immediately effective. This won't be the last time you hear about the Amberroom Property Video. Watch this space!
